Thoughts on Johnny Eblen's performance last night defending the Bellator middleweight strap? I thought he was quite impressive.

It was a great showing for him. Tokov was the right opponent to give him for a big TV spot like that cause he could create big moments of resistance and space when the grappling became too grindy. Happy they gave him the TV spot after the Nemkov-Romero fight fell apart.

Man’s gas tank is impressive as hell. Pulling out the belly to back suplex 24 minutes into a fight is wild. One guy learns that not every strike needs to be a homer, he’s going to get really really good.

Bellator 290 adds Eblen middleweight title bout

Bellator has added a middleweight title fight between Johnny Eblen and Anatoly Tokov to its Feb. 4 event after light heavyweight champ Vadim

Nemkov-Romero was scrapped as Nemkov had to pull out.

So instead we get a middleweight title fight between champ Johnny Elben and Anatoly Tokov which is honestly a better all around fight. Definitely deserves to be the one on CBS.
