Johnny Eblen vs Constello Van Steenis | PFL Champions Series 2
When PFL actually has their best fighters actually fight, we get really good fights out of it! Sadly, they chose to shelves these guys for months and months on end. I know the tourney champ gets crowned in a few weeks but hopefully they run this one back in the fall. Too dramatic an ending not to see a 2nd fight.
PFL finally books some fights for non-tournament fighters!
Bellator MW champion Johnny Eblen will face off with Costello Van Steenis.
And 2024 PFL FLW champion Dakota Ditcheva will face off with Sumiko Inaba (8-1).
Johnny Eblen pulled out a German suplex 24 and a half minutes into a fight. Wild man.
Johnny Eblen stops Fabian Edwards in 3rd - Bellator 299
Johnny Eblen vs. Collin Huckbody - Belllator 272
Someone besides Rafael Lovato was going to beat Gegard Mousasi for the Bellator Middleweight title eventually and it turned out to be Johnny Eblen (12-0).
Eblen was a D1 wrestler for the University of Missouri before getting his start in MMA. He trains out of American Top Team and has shown that he’s picked up parts of the game really well.
Eblen will defend the Bellator MW title for the first time at Bellator 290 this Friday (Feb. 4) on CBS in the co-main event. He is set to face off with Anatoly Tokov (31-3).
