Mads Burnell takes UD over Daniel Weichel on Bellator main card.

Mads is such a fun grappler and pocket fighter. He might not ever be a top guy but he's got such a fun and solid game when he can get into the range he likes. Great leg kicks to the calf. One of the best at throwing multiple hooks from the lead hand in the sport right now. Put a pace on Weichel that Weichel just could not match for 15 minutes, especially after that first round of grappling.

Weichel retires after 21 years of fighting.

Johnny Eblen stops Fabian Edwards in the 3rd round!

A very Edwards family performance from Fabian. Much like his brother, he's got a good fundamental kickboxing game. Also like his brother, he's too patient for his own good. And Eblen is like 20x more aggressive than basically anyone Leon ever fought, so you end up with this fight. There were moments where Edwards does good work. He cut Eblen openly horribly in the 2nd round with a well placed elbow as Eblen squared up to get his offense off. He didn't get taken down clean, but he couldn't create space to get off the cage. He was landing over the top of Eblen's naked leg kicks with well timed counter right hands. But Eblen did not stop coming forward. Heck, the finishing sequence was Edwards throwing a counter knee to an overhand from Eblen, landing but not enough to create space. So as Edwards brings his foot down, Eblen doubled up and ended up sending Edawrds to the mat. Eblen throws 4 or 5 hard follow up shots and the ref calls it.

Eblen then screams in Edwards face, gets into a mugging contest with Leon Edwards, and then goes over to apologize to both after cooling off for like 2 minutes.
