I honestly would have preferred if Roman was Blake's ex rather than Adam because Roman's already a playful flirty guy, so if he started calling Blake pet names (haha.) while fighting it wouldn't come off as cringey like Adam's "hello, my darling."

honestly those two fit the ex vibe way more than tauradonna ever did & without the poorly done caricature of an abuse storyline, it really allowed for some more dynamic moments between them. that part between them on the train cart where roman brings up what she’s done & you can almost feel that blake is about to snap & go back to whatever he’s referencing; but then she snaps out of it & it’s just. it’s so good.
