Beauxbatons Masterlist

The arrow engraved with your name is handed to you. You do what has been shown and let your arrow fly. The arrow bursts into the color green; You’ve been sorted into Bellefeuille.

When sitting down, you notice a pin on the collar of your uniform. A falling green leaf transforms into the letter “B”. This is the symbol that represents your house.

Welcome to Bellefeuille, home of Beauxbatons: Activists, adventurers, gardeners, animal lovers, among many other things.

Some say that the Bellefeuille common area has a special entry way to Beauxbatons famous gardens. The same gardens that have the fountain of Nicholas Flamel; one of Beauxbatons most honorable graduates.

Their common area is said to be the simplest but cozy. You’ll find many groups of friends sitting around talking about a myriad of things: studies, families, creatures they've seen, and coming up with new ideas for adventures they’d like to go on. If you’ve met someone in Bellefuille, you likely haven’t forgotten about them. Though kind and social, they believe in standing up for what they believe is right.

Clelia Bellona Durand (née Rovere) - Clelia and Aldéric met each other at a dinner party when they were in their early 20s. Clelia worked as a Spy/Auror for the International Confederation of Wizards. She was tasked with keeping an eye on suspicious affairs all over the world, especially in the UK during the Second Wizarding War. He fell for her witty and daring personality in an instant and they eloped a year after. Soon she found herself pregnant and the two were overjoyed to welcome a new member to their family. Jupiter followed two years after but their happiness shouldn't last very long as Clelia was killed by Death Eaters about 3 months after the birth of their second child.

Children: 

Elio Amédée Durand (b. in 1995) - Aldéric is super proud of Elio! Not only did he grow up to be a kind and confident man but he also managed to become Seeker for the Quiberon Quafflepunchers and the French National Team. The two are thick as thieves and would train together all the time. Elio took him on surfing trips when he was older.

Jupiter Adèlie Durand (b. in 1997) - His little baby! He used to take her stargazing when she was little, telling Jupiter her mother was now a star in the night sky. He loves her to bits and she admires him greatly. They could talk about anything and everything for hours. He really tries to be a good dad and it shows in his strong relationship with his children.

Backstory

Aldéric grew up within the walls of Fort Durand where he learned all about dragons, combat and duelling. He later became one of the most renowned Dragonologists of his time (reason yet tbd).

After the death of his wife, merely months after the birth of their daughter Jupiter, he was utterly devastated. In an attempt to drown out the pain, he flung himself into work for the resistance. Alongside Kaari, he escorted or more so smuggled innocent wizards out of the UK and offered them refuge at Fort Durand, knowing it to be safe. After the war and now a single dad, he retreated to Norway for a while to heal his emotional wounds and worked with Kaari at his sanctuary—his kids and their safety now his top priority. Between his studies and travels, he’d go back and forth between France and Skalafell, taking his kids with him wherever he’d go, as long as it wasn't too dangerous.

When Elio was about to turn 11 he agreed to fill in the spot of Professor for CoMC at Hogwarts—although only temporarily. Little did he know that he'd soon find it quite fun and what was supposed to be a year had turned into (a not yet defined number of) years. As he is really passionate about dragons he offered extra classes on Dragonology for interested students.

After his time as Professor, he returned to his usual work and took over the fort—still travelled a ton and helped out Kaari whenever he needed him. He gives lectures from time to time.

Kaari Arcano @kathrynalicemc - Kaari and Aldéric met when they both transferred schools in the same year. They quickly bonded over their shared love for dragons and from then on often got into trouble together. They were both Chasers for the Gryffindor team and would make the lives of the other teams a living hell. After Hogwarts, the two went on to work as Dragonologists and would occasionally work together to bust illegal dragon fights and nurse the dragons back to health. When Aldéric asked Kaari to be his kids' godfather they both legit cried.
