@ belleoftheboulevard: Hey, thanks for your comment, can’t find it now for some reason but yeah natural resources have always been a big reason for the exploitation of indigenous peoples. I wasn’t quite aware of the inner (more class-driven I suppose?) divide among the Papuan people though.
I’m not surprised to hear about the lack of media attention :( but the Indonesians I was referring to in my post is more directed to those on tumblr who, I would assume, have the resources to learn about the Papua Conflict.
