I've been battling mental health issues since I was 18 (that was when they really started to show; though looking back, they were always there). I've suffered with addictions since 18 also. Though most days are hard bad, they aren't going to be the end of my story. I will continue to fight through the bad days because life is worth living; no matter how hard it is. I write; a lot. Journaling is my therapy. Sometimes, I shut the world off and just try to reset myself; try to get back in touch with myself. Sometimes I shut down because I literally cannot begin to explain the spiraling world inside my head. My mind is so loud and it's hard to form a thought. Many people don't understand my silence and sometimes it passes as ignorance (or I am mad at them). But that isn't the case. I'm dealing with the crumbling world behind my wall.
