Nari 🌸

Nari tends to get attached to stuff easily, unlike her siblings, so her attention was drawn to you fairly quickly

She’d either spend time with you or watch you from a distance

After a month or so, Nari started to notice you were doing some things that she tended to do

You would pick beetles up off the ground and watch them as they scuttled between your fingers

You also stared at butterflies when they were around, being careful not to make any sudden movements when one landed on you

Another thing Nari noticed was that you didn’t like sitting down in the way humans did

It didn’t matter if it was a chair at a desk, a couch, or even the floor. If you can get away with it, you will just crouch like a frog and stay like that until you get up again or someone tells you to sit properly

Nari enjoys it and will sometimes also sit like that next to you just to mess with Douxie and Archie

Bellroc doesn’t get attached to anything easily if at all, so congrats for peaking their interest

Let’s be honest though, Nari probably dragged you into their life 

Bellroc liked to watch you from a distance, very rarely making contact with you when they can help it (they aren’t a people person)

One night while watching you from their perch in a tree outside your bedroom window, Bellroc noticed you flick open a metal box while you were doing some homework, a small flame emitting from it

You flicked the flame off and on for about half an hour before finally putting the small box away and turning in for the night, clearly having finished your work

Bellroc noticed you do this a number of times, seemingly when you’re doing homework or when your deep in thought

You also did this a few times when you were visiting with Nari and just ended up staring off into the distance with no clear focus point

One day, on one of your visits, you had brought your homework with you and seemed to be struggling

“What’s troubling you?” 

“Hmm…?” You glanced up at Bellroc as they crouched beside you, their head tilted in a curious manner

“You are struggling?” Bellroc pointed out, though it seemed more like a question

“Oh, yeah. I forgot my lighter at home and now, I’m just having a hard time focusing.”

At the mention of your forgotten “lighter”, Bellroc picked up a discarded ball of crumpled up paper and set it ablaze in the palm of their hand

You glanced at the flame, staring at it for a moment before turning back to your work, finally seeming to be able to focus with the flame’s presence nearby

Now, anytime you need to focus and you forget your “lighter” in their presence, Bellroc with light a flame in their hand and remain crouched beside you until you are done

Skrael ❄️

A lot like Bellroc, Skrael doesn’t get attached easily

However, when something peeks his interest, there’s barely anything that can divert his attention from it

Nari was the one that brought you into Skrael’s life, just like with Bellroc

Skrael followed you around a lot after the first meeting, curious of you and your ways

He tagged along and hung around you when you were alone, but distanced himself from you when other people were around

There are very few things that Skrael finds entertaining, however, the pain of others is always fun for him

On many occasions while watching you from afar, Skrael would entertain himself by messing with people nearby (mostly by making people slip with small patches of ice)

One time, Skrael made someone slip right in front of you and, to his surprise, you laughed

It wasn’t a full laugh, just a small snort really, but it was still a laugh

After that time, Skrael started tripping more people around you just to see you laugh, even going as far as laughing along with you

You didn’t always laugh, especially when it was people you cared about, so Skrael took to only tripping strangers or the friends you teased yourself

~ You were alone. Your family was gone after they'd been discovered for their magical abilities and you were left on the streets after running from the knights who slaughtered them. As you shuffled through the district where you'd been borne, covered in ash and dirt you feared you we're next. In desperation to get away and fear of being discovered as well you fled from the kingdom. You ran deep into the woods wishing you'd die from a troll rather than the cruel knights.

~ It's in the woods by a tiny fire you'd started with your powers that Bellroc finds you. Nari often wonders these woods as Nari is connected to them, but what most don't know is that Bellroc and Skrael wander them as well. The eldest demigod is alone tonight walking through Nari's creation looking at the stars when they see your fire glowing through the trees. Coming closer they pause observing a scrawny and soot covered human crouching in front of a laughable flame. About to leave uninterested in the affairs of mortals they watch as you hold your hand out and make the flames a bit stronger before curling close to the small fire and drifting off into a restless sleep. Now you've caught the demigods attention.

~ Bellroc while you sleep picks you up and brings you back to their lair, where its warm and dry and safe for magic users. Skrael and Nari are curious about the new arrival but remain silent as their sibling gives them a look to not wake you. Placing you in a bed of soft moss near a warm fire they put furr blankets on you. Making sure your still sleeping they leave to talk to their siblings and explain what they'd seen. They already had guesses on what had happened and decided if you wanted you were more than welcome to stay.

~ When you wake your not in the same place you were when you fell asleep. A bit panicked looking around with wide eyes Bellroc waits sipping tea as they watch you with their glowing amber eyes. When you've calmed down enough to notice them they hold up their hand fire flickering at their fingertips.

~ "You have magic like mine. You were alone and cold so I brought you here to my home. I wish to make you a deal, I'd like to take you on as my apprentice. There are so few fire mages left." They offer. You seem hesitant but as Bellroc summons food for you, you decide that living with a magical deity who can teach you is better than being on your own with unpredictable powers. Besides here you'll have warm food with water and a safe place where someone can teach you.

~ Bellroc is a stern but caring teacher once lessons start. They never push you too far and their exercises are simple and basic to get you prepared for the harder lessons that will eventually come. They teach you about runes, fire spells, magic insignias, wards, and so much more. Bellroc in turn learns more about humans as they ask questions about your life and whats it's like. In part it's to bond and know more about you but it's also so Bellroc can better take care of you. They have a more or less strict schedule and make sure you eat three times a day and drink plenty of water inbetween practicing for hours.

~ Eating becomes interesting. Bellroc and the other Arcane Order members can summon food but apprentally real food and magic food have different tastes and it's hard to ignore. It also doesn't provide as much nutrients as the fire demigod would like. They gather the supplies for you and are surprised at how much cooking resembles potion making. Bellroc and their siblings do not need to eat and yet to make you feel more at home they have meals with you when they can. They enjoy cooking with you and become enamoured with different flavors. Bellroc prefers spicy and savory food, while Nari prefers sweet things, and Skrael likes roasted meats and chilled vegetables. Eating together is always fun and many stories and jokes are shared as you rest from your training.

~ Bellroc finds books and ancient scrolls to help aid you in your schooling. Your teaching is very physcial and involves strenuous activity but they understand many do not learn that way and that humans are fragile. While they insist you practice the basics every day they only push harder exercises when they feel your ready. They are always proud of you and although you have many limitations as a human Bellroc is never not impressed at what your able to teach yourself to do. Every new spell is met with a small celebration as the siblings congratulate you.

~ On quiet nights when they have no duties and you've finsihed your lessons Bellroc will be in a more playful mood. They enjoy your smile and laugh and like to entertain their siblings. As Nari plays with your hair and Skrael watches intently Bellroc will sit and tell stories. Their fire brings their words to life as they spin tales much older than your time. Skrael and Nari will pipe in with corrections or asjustments as you watch the fire with wide eyes.

~ Bellroc sometimes feels sad as they watch you sleep. They are not the same as having your parents as your teachers or living in Camelot and Bellroc knows this. They are not your parent they never will be and yet they feel a deep kinship with you and are very protective. They are careful to keep you away from other humans and hoarde your time to themselves and their siblings because they only have so much with you. They know this and yet they do not care. To them you are their family and they love their family.

Bellroc is an old soul being a demigod and although they originally have no interest in romance they quickly learn that when they have a partner they like to romance them. Love languages have shifted and changed over the years but Bellroc finds themsleves mixing generation old traditions and tge newer traditions of today to successfully woo you.

Candlelit dinner is a favorite of theres. They like to show off their abilities and as fires their element it is somehow always incorporated into your dates. Having a nice night eating together talking softly by the candlelight makes them happy. They love how the fire makes your face glow.

Chivalry may be dead but they are immortal and they will carry it with them. Whenever your cold they'll wrap their arm around you to warm you up and drape their cloak of feathers over your shoulders. The surprised look you give them as you hold the cloak close makes their heart flutter. You are such a soft and sweet and delicate thing.

Bellroc quit enjoys human media. They've listened to countless stories told around campfires and know ancient histories and myths because of it. When writing is invented Bellroc finds themselves enraptured. Books are very entertaining and they like to spend countless hours reading. They are well versed in most genres and are fansciated with the discoveries humans make every century and how what people like in their writing changes. They enjoy cuddling close reading books by the firelight and will read to you if you so desire.

They enjoy stargazing. They'll make a warm fire for you to stay close to while they point out constellations and tell stories. Sometimes they'll go into their past mentioning their siblings and their origins and other times they are silent listening to your stories as their eyes shine with endearment.

They are good at making spicy and fire cooked savory foods. Bellroc makes the best roast meats and hearty soups. They will keep you well fed and enjoy feeding you like Royalty with only the freshest richest ingredients. They don't really need to eat but it you ever make them something they'll be flattered.

Not really one for nonsense but if your in a playful mood they enjoy any jokes or pranks you may pull. Humans are full of life and are constantly growing as apposed to their siblings which have been the same forever. When you laugh it fills their soul with joy and they love when you smile, it's the brightest light in their life.

They love to run their hands through your hair as you sleep. They keep their skin warm not to hot not to cold and glide their fingers over your arm with a small smile. Its often in these moments with you in a deep sleep and Bellroc watching over you they'll admit they love you in hushed tones.

Declarations of love are no joke to Bellroc. Any compliment they give is heartfelt and long, any sentiment is truly from their heart, and every romantic gesture is thought out and planned ahead of time. They love you so much and they hope their actions show it.

Your not married in the traditional sense but if you'd like to have a wedding Bellroc is more than willing to indulge. Nari and Skrael come and its the most magical and romantic evening you've ever had. On the eve of every wedding anniversary Bellroc gets excited to spoil you. They are always spoiling you but still. It's special to have a day dedicated to your love every year and they never forget even if human time is confusing.

🔥 Bellroc having a child includes...

Very Protective Parent. Bellroc has been around since the beginning of time. They've seem how humans can be and they refuse to let anyone harm you. You are their bond, their brood, their responsibility. But mostly your their life.

You were either given to Bellroc as an offering or you were left somewhere and they found you. Bellroc is not a fan of humans but babies and children do no harm. They are too young to know how to do harm. They are naive and full of life and know not the pain of this world. Bellroc takes you in the hope that you will not become like your kind, they take you with the hope you will never know what it means to be unloved or treated with cruelty.

That being said Bellroc doesn't actually know how to take care of you... you are human. Bellroc is not. You need to eat, drink, sleep. You need to be entertained and cared for. You can not be too cold nor too hot. You are fragile, delicate. It takes time but Bellroc thankfully is able to handle it and adapt as Bellroc always does.

Bellroc is a very authoritative parent. They care about your happiness and the ability to expand your creativity and mind but Bellroc wants you to be safe as well. Their rules are to be followed but they make sure there's plenty of time for love and fun as well. You are a very intelligent, strong, talented, and independent. Bellroc raises you to be the very best version of yourself and is so proud of you.

You have a very doting aunt and uncle. Skrael and Nari absolutely adore you. When Bellroc introduces you they instantly fall in love with you and welcome you into the family. Well Nari does. Nari takes you to play as Skrael stays behind to talk to Bellroc concerned.

Nari plays games with you keeping you enterained and making you laugh. Bellroc smiles softly watching as you enjoy yourself with their sibling. Skrael takes awhile to get used to you and like you as your human but when they see how you are with Nari and Bellroc they decide to help Bellroc raise you. You are not your race, you are the Orders child and Skrael refuses to let anything bad happen to you ever. Very protective but also distant Skrael watches your progress from afar. If you ever seen bored or unhappy with Bellroc away he will summon snow just don't tell anymore that they have gone soft.

You weren't originally magic but now you are. Living with the Arcane Order had its benifets and magic happens to be one of them. Bellroc is a good teacher but a strong minded one. Bellroc has known magic for years and they will decide what you are ready for and when.

However Bellroc is always so proud when you get something right and every new spell is a celebration. Bellroc may be strict but they are fair and they will always have your best interests at heart. The Order is very happy with your progress and are always ready to praise your work. Nari loves when you do magic and appreciates when you show them any new spells you've learned. Skrael always leaves you little presents in your room as a nod towards your progress. Meanwhile Bellroc is just a proud parent who's beaming.

Nari likes sleeping with you after a long day of training. As a human wizard you need sleep and although Nari doesn't they enjoy curling up next to you. Bellroc and Skrael will often watch fondly before attending to their duties of keeping the balance.

You may not be like them but that does not matter. Family is never what one expects. Bellroc does not regret taking you in and they never will. They love you. All of them.
