[OOC, for those I interact with often enough, more or less daily on places over in Discord, I would say I know how to be serious when I need to be... but I delight in being anything but whenever and as much as possible. I do enjoy small talk to an... average amount - I'm not exactly hyperactive but I've learned to habitually check in with people regularly enough where I don't think I qualify for 'antisocial' or 'introverted' if ever I did. That said, a large amount of my OOC interactions, when not dedicated to things like games or media held in common with those I talk to regularly, often circles back to RP one way or another, especially plotting and world-building discussions. As for befriending my RP partners, I would say I am eager overall, but I tend to remain at least a little cautious at first until I get a better feel for someone - both to avoid over-extending awkwardly and to keep my own expectations in check. A few bad experiences over the last few years have not helped, but have yet to fully douse my enthusiasm and optimism towards this Hobby and the people I meet through it, since a lot of my friends are also RP mutuals and vice-versa for many years now. That said, if you're reading this and want to talk to me more OOC and see about befriending me? As long as you're a mutual on here, ask for my Discord and we'll see how things go - I'm far more reachable there than I am here for OOC things!]

Under the tree, not even wrapped at all is a music box. A diamond encrusted case with artwork recycled and preserved under lacquer from an unnoteworthy artist's gift to Louis XIV in Versailles. Much of it is faded but what remains includes a gallic rooster battling a lion and an angel whose face has long since faded. Upon opening the box an unrecognizable song plays, most likely one of Mason's compositions or something lost to time. Inside the lid is a business card sized piece of paper that says Merry Christmas in Mason's usual impeccable handwriting.

Harmony enters the room with a sigh. Her eyes sought solace in the Christmas tree there. It's one that she decorated with Mason. It's an activity that she insisted on doing together. It was a fun evening, hanging the ornaments while learning about the stories behind the keepsake ornaments. It's a memory she treasures, and it's one she returns to in quiet nights like this.

The holidays are here and sadly, Mason isn't here. He has the annual business with his kin in Italy including the hours-long Mass. Harmony never went to these events, though was not against joining him. However, that was never something she pushed on. The festivities are important to the prince and she can't bear the thought of distracting him. This year has been harder since he must preside over confessions, meaning he's out there longer.

Suddenly, something caught her attention while she was watching the tree. She lowers herself onto one knee for a better look before her hands reach for it. The music box is nothing like she's seen before. It's beautiful with the old art preserved with lacquer and diamonds along the sides. She carefully opens the box, only to find a note and a melodic tune greeting her. Harmony gently closes the box before returning to her feet. She turns away from the tree and crosses the room for the plush sofa.

She settles on the sofa and holds the box close to her. She opens the box once more and the musical notes fill the room. Harmony sets the box on the coffee table before her. She focuses on the box while listening to the song, particularly the message on the lid's interior.

The song isn't one she remembers but Harmony is sure Mason wrote it. He said he composed music for centuries, often using them on the organ or piano. Lips quirk a smile as she recalls Mason's lament about how other nobles pleaded with him to teach their children music. Though not all of them had the talent to excel in the skill, or much interest in it despite their parents' desires.

The song continues playing while she leans back. Arms embrace one of the throw pillows to her chest. Harmony closes her eyes while taking in each note. It's moments like this when her heart pines for him. Yes, Mason has given her so much. Even more than she can ever ask for. She cherishes every gift he brings, but she misses those moments together the most.

"Mason..." Harmony mutters against the pillow. "I...I wish you were here."

Persona wishlist. For Ryuji to not be abused for "comedy" its a shit trope in a game that tries to be serious.

I agree with this but if we should extend the other Persona guys into this group too - Yosuke, Junpei and even Kanji got abused a little for ‘comedy’. Those are just the guys I’m thinking of, off the top of my head. In an ideal world, this trope wouldn’t be as common as it is. I know I’m probably overthinking the comedy part and I’m sure cultural differences also play into this, but abusing someone who has suffered from a history of physical abuse for ‘comedy’ has always kind of rubbed me the wrong way. In general, I feel like a lot of Ryuji’s past abuse was kind of brushed under the rug, but maybe that’s just me.

If there is one thing the sage has learnt during her time teaching in this academy, it is that the children here tend to leave the strangest of personal items laying about the monastery grounds. From pieces of clothing, to diaries, to materials for the arts-- it seems as though nothing is too precious or cared for to avoid such a horrible fate at some point in time. A burnt painting is the newest addition to the gremory’s list-- one that seems too deliberately sabotaged for this to simply be something that the owner desired to erase from existence. It is an item none have admitted to owning or ever seeing in their lifetime, and Naeva finds her list growing frustratingly short. If it does not belong to this child-- to Klaus--, the woman has resigned to simply placing it with the other unclaimed objects cluttering the faculty’s storage rooms. As she speaks, her tone is flat-- defeated and tired of asking the same question to yet another careless student.

“I believe this might be yours,”

Naeva does not dare to say how or why she knows this-- it is much better if she pretends to have narrowed it down at this point, rather than giving anyone the opportunity to claim that the painting is not theirs.

“A word of advice, my child-- it is neither acceptable nor wise to set fire to a painting. Even if you loathe its existence.”

There are some good blogs that have easy to install themes. try octomoosey their themes are pretty good and rp blog friendly. Of course there is nothing wrong with using default theme.

tyvm for the suggestion!! i’m not bothered enough to go theme hunting, it’s just really outside my comfort zone to install one. however, if there ever arise legitimate problems ( i.e. from an accessibility standpoint ) with using the default theme, i’ll keep this in mind! for now though, i’m not really worried. so long as the theme works i’m keeping it as-is outside of a few potential cosmetic changes should i fancy new art more than tobi’s cipher cards.
