How long have you been a part of the CS/OUAT fandom?

Watched the show premiere with bated breath! Watched the first six seasons, but never finished seven.

When did you start shipping Captain Swan?

Oh man, I remember watching and re-watching Tallahassee and being OBSESSED with these two potential love interests (both Hook and Neal) but I honestly think it took the first kiss in Good Form before I set my heart on CS and it hasn't strayed since!

What drew you to this event?

I used to participate in CS fandom events during my first foray in the fandom but nothing official like this - having gotten back in a few months ago, I'm excited to be a part of an event and share a story with the fandom!

What inspired your topic?

My fic was inspired by the prompt: what if you adopted a huge mutt from the pound and later you found out it was a werewolf who was staying in canid form. and what's more fucked up is that you already love your dog and you've had them for a while when you find out he's been just some guy. what then

When bounty hunter Emma Swan gets beaten up by a bounty, her friend convinces her to adopt a guard dog from the bound. Unbeknownst to her, she adopts Killian Jones, a werewolf who's staying in canid form to lie low for a while. Their bond only gets stronger when Killian's troubles in the supernatural world come knocking on Emma's door. Together they must figure out how to save not only Killian, but all of Storybrooke, from a werewolf pack hell-bent on power and destruction.

What are you looking forward to most about participating in this event?

Just the sense of connection to others and seeing what others come up with!

I can't wait to see what @belovedcreation has in store for us! Make sure to catch her story dropping on August 6th!

Can I just say that I love all your fics?! 😍 My first answer is always A Pirate Comes to Pemberly for obvious reasons.. but oh goodness I forgot about When Paths Diverge! I should re-read that now, after it’s finished. It’s such a unique fic!

Yes, obvious reasons! I am forever proud of A Pirate Comes to Pemberley and it makes me happy anytime someone comments on it. It was a challenge to write and I think that made it all the more fun. Though I don’t think I ever had more fun writing a fanfic than I did with Where Paths Diverge. Every update and every twist in the story was a joy to write and to see peoples reactions. And the challenge to make it all make sense in the end was especially hard. I am not sure I could ever replicate that experience and I am so grateful to fandom for giving me the chance to write a Choose Your Own Adventure story!

Gideon is similar to our depiction of Mordred in "Le Morte D'Savior". Discuss.

He is! In the fic Mordred had an unquenchable desire to prove himself to his father and the knights of Camelot and he wanted to be King at any cost. Which is what lead him into becoming the first Dark One. One could even argue that his childhood with Morgause was similar to Gideon’s with the Black Fairy.  Also Daddy issues. (If this makes no sense to you it’s because you probably need to read the fic. Which was a spec on what S5 might have been) 

I have liked what we have seen of Gideon so far. He wants to become a Savior so he can save a realm from the Black Fairy and to get that power he is willing to kill an innocent person. Which doesn’t make him quite a hero and doesn’t make him quite a villain. It seems like he is something different than what we have gotten in the past and I am quite excited about that.

Disney Snow White? Primary colors with a cute little bow in your hair - easy depending on what's in your wardrobe. You could do a Lt Killian with naval blues and gold accents.

NAVAL KILLIAN!! That’s a great idea! Oh that could be a lot of fun! But might require some purchases. I think I could pull together a Snow White one in a pinch.

I plan to do a red cardigan and jeans and boots for the set tour. Just to look a wee bit like Emma to take pics around the sets :)

That’s a great plan gotta have the right outfit for all those pictures! But also note to self don’t wear a red cardigan on Saturday!

I was @belovedcreation​‘s Captain Swan Secret Santa, or as Heather knows me, I was SANTA Mia-whose-real-name-is-Monica! Hi Heather!!!

I know I promised you a fanfic, which I still plan on writing, but as I told you I started to have a serious case of writer block after the first three pages and I decided to draw something for you. I have two drawings, this is the first one, I hope you like it, it represents Emma and Killian at their first Christmas. The next one will be posted tomorrow, as you’ve told to my little elf who of course it wasn’t me.
