There's just something so eerie and even liminal about all the old, defunct Redbox stations still scattered around. Seeing all the newest movies that were on offer when they shuttered. It's kinda like finding an abandoned movie theater or video store that still has posters up for movies that were then new, but are now signposts of the place being frozen in time.
I also love how the top of the stations proudly boasted that Redbox is "the smarter way to watch and play", when Redbox stopped renting out games in like 2019.
