I only started the newest Commander at Home knowing Ben Brode was in it, and to see what madcap nonsense he brought this time. And I was not disappointed

He’s playing with novelty small cards while having commander card be the oversized display card.

Why yes all it takes for me to reinstall Marvel Snap is to hear Ben Brode introduce my married OTP Corvus Glaive and Proxima Midnight and call them “Relationship goals y’all!”

Seriously I love how in this, and in games where synergies come in, it’s not just that they are warlords of Thanos that is most prominent, it’s the fact Corvus and Proxima love each other so much that their battle tactics revolve around supporting and being near each other as much as possible.

To my friends, coworkers, and the Hearthstone community, After 15 years at Blizzard and almost 10 years working on Hearthstone, I have made the incredibly difficult decision to embark on a new journey.

Hearthstone Game Director Ben Brode just announced he’s leaving Blizzard. Surprising news indeed.

We’ll never forget the laughter... the rapping... terms like “the soul of the card” which are sure to last as long as the game itself. Adios!
