"We had a very special screening of The Magic Faraway Tree at MediCinema. We met tons of smart, great young people and adults and I even got a balloon frog and Nicola got a balloon bracelet! They are an amazing organisation that builds proper cinemas INSIDE HOSPITALS that show current films on release. It’s genius. They are truly using the inspiring power of cinema to make people in hospital feel included, excited and… well… normal! People not just patients! Can I say I just love Ben, he is so funny and supportive and has been wonderful about posting things.
Also it probably will come to US and Canada, just gradually like Paddington.

"Last weekend the wonderful Nicola Coughlan, one of the stars of The Magic Faraway Tree, made a surprise appearance at the CW+ MediCinema, along with the film’s Director Ben McGregor. Nicola, who plays Silky in the movie, and Ben spent time with the patients and their families, chatting about the new release and what it’s like to work in the film industry, and signing copies of the book ahead of the film’s screening. It was a full house! We were also joined by Miss Ballooniverse who made magical balloon creations for all our guests. Huge thank you to Nicola and Ben for helping to make the screening an extra special one for the patients."
