what i want to see in cruel summer season 3
(assuming all of the original cast returns)
kate & mallory. I think everyone agrees with this 😭 definitely the most likely to actually happen. im hoping we get more depth with the relationship/characters too, of course i want to see them happy together but there’s definitely more they need to address
ben & vince making up. this is all i want. whether they get back together or not i just want to see them forgive each other and at least be friends again. i really do want them as endgame and i will forever stand by them being the best ship but any positive content is enough for me.
more of the side characters! i’ve always found ben specifically very interesting and i feel like they could do a lot with him. plus they set up some potential arcs for tenille that could be interesting to follow up on. and renee is basically a clean slate right now, i would love to see a focus shift especially since the main story is told
solo jamie storylines. i’m his biggest defender forever and always so i would love to see him develop as his own character instead of just the boyfriend. he could be so interesting, i feel like they set up a lot of potential storylines for him but didn’t follow through. specifically i would love to see some mental health storyline with him because i feel like that could work for a redemption arc which i would also love to see
jamie and jeanette breakup. please. this ship is horrible for so many reasons and should not be endgame.
someone finding out the truth about jeanette. no idea how it would happen but i think this is the only way to involve her and keep some of the main storyline of season 1. maybe jamie finds out and exposes her to prompt the breakup and his redemption?
another mystery aspect. genuinely i have no idea what it could be because i don’t think kate or jeanette should be involved in it. maybe related to tenille’s family?
im so excited for this season!! i can’t believe we’re actually getting it 😭
