Jasper sat quietly half awake in the resident room, going over notes "Are you on?" "Mhm? No but I can be....surgery?" "No, no...I'm off...Studying?" Ben sits on one of the lower bunks "Damned if I do, damned if I don't" Jasper murmurs almost falling asleep, he's been on for three days straight this was his first break....poor guy is tired "Jasper" "Mhm?" "Can I tell you something?" Ben rubs his hands together... silence for a few minutes Ben was hoping that Jasper didn't just fell asleep "Yeah" Jasper takes a long drink of coffee and then tilts his head back "I'm sorry" this makes Jasper sit up and start coughing, to hear I'm sorry drop out of Ben Samuels mouth was surprising to say the least "Damn, and I killed ya" "I....just" Jasper wheezes "you...and those words" he clears his throat fixing himself "But I am sorry, you really didn't deserve all that I put you through...considering all of it made both of us worse" Ben explains "Oh but we had goodtimes...and uh you were there when I woke up" Jasper itches his neck "And I put you through some shit too. It was like we were trying to see who could fuck the other over worse" "I say we did the same amount of damage" Ben looks down "Maybe I did more...emotional damage and you did the physical damage" "The stairs don't count we both went down for that one and I hit you twice once for my dad and once for that nasty joke you played on Jack wasn't fair" Jasper rubs his face closing his notebook and gets up "I know I deserved everything you threw at me..." "And you threw it back times ten" Jasper pulls himself onto the top bunk laying down his arm draped over the side "I truly am sorry though" Ben yawns laying down "I know and I say it's pending..." Jasper grumbles waving his hand and Ben catches it "How's Bobby treating you?" "Better than you" that stung and Jasper's little giggle didn't help "Get some sleep, you hobgoblin...we got surgery in ten hours" "Shit, I will go to sleep then"
