In a show that gives me thousands of reasons to be in love, Ben's relationship with Pawnee is one of my favorites. From the minute he arrives, he's completely indifferent to the town, seeing it as a problem that needs to be fixed and pointing out that it's "not special." He tries to fire Leslie, he begrudgingly goes out with the group, he doesn't get Li'l Sebastian. He's an outsider in so many ways until he begins accepting Pawnee's embrace and all the crazy that comes with it. He starts feeling at home in Pawnee as his relationship with Leslie develops, and both really come to a head in "Road Trip," where he defends the town and admits he has feelings for Leslie. Pawnee is everything to Leslie--Pawnee is Leslie. It's so brilliantly executed I want to cry.
