Wait I'm so upset that Replay is getting cancelled it looked so iconic. Seems like the author of the novel is problematic so I understand, but I was so excited for an ensemble series with those three couples. Pls give them something iconic still 😭

Remembering I'll have new JoongDunk show tomorrow getting me through the day
WHERE are Aran and Tawan. Why are they listed as the second leads when we're getting more Rome Mok time than them? I'm not going to believe any romance they may have unless it ends in them hate fucking each other
Hello Round One trailer dropped? Replacement for JossGawin Replay... Since their show just wrapped up I wonder if TayNew will have a show announced after A Dog and A Plane wraps up... And then the PondPhuwin extra was Peach and Me? Perhaps?
Round One looks incredible regardless, I am hype 〜(꒪꒳꒪)〜
Tag game: Top 10 QL series I never get tired of hearing/seeing anything about:
Thank you to @bpbrigade for tagging me! I'm really excited to participate :D I have been contemplating this for a while because there are so many good ones out there - I had a very clear top 5 and then struggled to narrow down the rest. have also just been busy did not realize just how delayed this would be :(
1. Jack and Joker
Jack and Joker is such a masterclass of storytelling. I love that it took its time with the romance and put the story first, because it gave the characters time to develop separately before seeing their relationship. I also really loved the special episode and am sincerely hoping for good news on a season two...
It's clear that the writers had a story they wanted to tell and issues they wanted to highlight, and I think there's a lot this has to offer. I recommend this one all the time to friends and love hearing about it :3
2. The Heart Killers
The origin of my love for JoongDunk <3 this is another series that I recommend all the time because I really think the storytelling is top tier. The characters all feel very real, and I love watching them grow as they handle the situation they're in. I love my hitmen brothers and I love the fashion in this series and how unique and distinct they all dress, which I feel like is not usually done with men's fashion. I also love Captain Christ,,,, the number of strings he pulled for my boys is wild. A truly iconic ally lol
3. 2gether
The first Thai BL I ever watched. I had just seen F4 Thailand (as my first Thai drama) and was excited to see another show with Win and Bright, so of course this will hold a special place in my heart as the gateway to Thai dramas as a whole for me. It absolutely has its flaws, and I appreciate discourse on those too (unless it's just "well the actors can't act like they are in love!" because I've seen that often and. I disagree). But there's so much here that I love and that makes this a very rewatchable show for me, as well.
Also it introduced me to Scrubb and I am their number 2 fan, second only to Tine
4. Burnout Syndrome
Another reason I'm a little late in making this list is because I knew this would be on here but I was scared to watch the finale after being disappointed by the Me and Thee finale... :( But I finally watched it and it was everything I could hope for. This show was incredibly written, very beautiful to watch, the characters were all believable, and I loved what it had to say. Even the side characters were well developed, which I sometimes feel is neglected in favor of more screen time for the couple(s). I have a lot more to say on this, so expect a full review in a separate post soonish, assuming I get more time soon...
5. 4minutes
This is another series that I recommend often, but usually when I'm drunk and have the guts to say "no you *need* to watch the sultrier version for the character development!! You won't understand Tonkla as well otherwise!!"
I thought the plot of this one was really unique, which is something I am always looking for. The execution was incredible, and I had a really fun time figuring out what was going on and piecing together the clues. I liked the side couples in this one a lot more than the main couple, but I think that's more so because there wasn't really as much development of the main couple's relationship? And allegedly there will be a sequel but I have only seen anything about that on mydramalist so I can't say for sure, but I would be delighted if that did happen!
6. Boys in Love
This one really surprised me! I originally picked this up because of my love for Win Metawin lol - I had watched Beauty Newbie (which is also based on one of my favorite webtoons, so reason #2 for watching that) in which Mick acts as the younger version of Win's character. After that I was interested to see what else Mick would do! I was a little nervous with the number of couples in this show, as I usually prefer one to two so they can develop properly with the narrative and not have one obvious focus and the rest just be after thoughts. However, they absolutely maintained the right balance of screen time for everyone. I also especially loved Per and Tar's storyline, and how that ended (maybe an unpopular opinion?). Everyone was also so good at communicating and I feel like no issues were ever really left unresolved at the end of an episode so it was very much a comfort show as it came out.
7. Yuri on Ice
The original QL for me! I watched this when it came out and it was the first time I realized that media could actually just let characters be gay and not just heavily hint at it. My very first cosplay was also Yuuri Plisetsky, so I'm very grateful for all the worlds this show opened my eyes to. I also used to be primarily a Pinterest user and I am very fond of all the memes from this show. It was one of my primary friend making tactics because I had moved to a new school at the time it came out as well
I will never not be upset at everything that was promised to us and then forgotten :(
8. My Golden Blood
If nothing else, I want to learn the origin of the dreaded quote...
I thought the plot of this one was fun and really enjoyed watching it as it came out. I really liked not knowing if the vampire character was going to turn human or if the human would turn vampire (or a totally different resolution with an unhappy ending lol). I appreciated the darker tones of the vampire plotline paired with a traditional university setting!
9. My School President
I loved the humor of this show and how they handled different parent dynamics. I have a full review here from when I watched it :)
10. Given
As a musician and someone who really believes in the power music has to deal with emotions and work through things, this one really means a lot to me. I love Mafuyu's journey of healing and connecting with music again. I also got to watch the last movie in theaters with a friend so it is very special to me because of that :)
Yippee my top 10 QL as of now!! I am definitely exceedingly late to this so if you were never tagged and want to participate tada you are now tagged :)
Shuffling my music at work and ตกลงฉันคิดไปเองใช่ไหม (เพลง ประกอบซีรีส์ เพราะเราคู่กัน) (from 2gether) comes on.
Wanting to watch 2gether again urge intensifies :,)
What do you mean Daily Jojo is ending in three weeks :( my comfort webtoon.
Dare You to Death finally here but it's on Netflix?? I am so proud of my boys but I don't pay for that...... Want to support them but don't want to support Netflix...... A dilemma..........
