Hi Ridia! Since there hasn't really been any BenAki asks recently, how about some BenAki fluff? Thanks in advance man I really LOVE your blog and all that you do for this fandom:))
It’s cold out right now so clearly this is the time for Benzai and Akiyama to curl up in their kotatsu and be cute together. Like imagine there’s this huge snowstorm one day and Scepter 4 ends up effectively snowed in so the two of them pretty much huddle under the kotatsu and spend the day together. Akiyama makes hot chocolate for each of them and brings it back to the room where Benzai’s already sitting with his legs under the kotatsu looking like a happy cat. Akiyama smiles at seeing him, setting down the cup and asking if Benzai’s comfortable, the dorms are fairly cold this time of year but at least they have blankets and everything to keep warm. Benzai says he’s fine and asks about Akiyama, since Akiyama’s the one who’s been going back and forth getting drinks and food and besides he knows Akiyama can be more sensitive to the cold than Benzai is. Akiyama says his hands did feel a little cold but it’s nothing to worry about, Benzai takes his hand and rubs it with his own, noting that Akiyama’s fingers are still cold even after holding the hot chocolate. Akiyama says he’ll be warmed up soon enough after he gets under the kotatsu and Benzai pulls Akiyama down next to him. Maybe they have a big cozy blanket too that Benzai wraps around both their shoulders and Akiyama laughs, saying it reminds him of that time in the Defense Force where they were stationed somewhere during a blizzard and had to huddle up for warmth. Benzai says at least this time they have a kotatsu, leaning in to press his forehead against Akiyama’s, and Akiyama flushes a little as he says he’s always felt warm when Benzai’s there next to him. Benzai gives him a soft kiss and they kinda cuddle together like a pair of contented kittens, soft and warm side by side like they always are.

The Benaki Museum has announced the re-opening of the home where Irish writer Patrick Leigh Fermor and his wife, the English photographer Joan, spent some of the best years of their lives, in Kardamyli in the Peloponnese's Mani region. The charming property was closed down in order to undergo renovations, which were carried out with a grant from the Stavros Niarchos Foundation, the Benaki said. Apart from hosting artists and academics, the house is also open to the public every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday at 11 a.m., by reservation only (by email at [email protected] or by phone on tel 210.367.1090, Monday to Thursday). The house can also be reserved for vacations as of next summer. For more details about this initiative, contact [email protected] or visit www.ariahotels.gr for more information.
