"She looked just as lost as I was...."
Fun fact about the TLOTIM universe!
Betty Boop is a retired jazz singer. She used to be a traveling star but retired as she got older.
Bendy has several of her records and she's his favorite musician.
I see a lot of folks seeing this and thinking the ink demon is unbothered by the tortured but, the thing is it just says its not killing him, theres nothing in it saying it doesn't still cause him physical pain, and if I recall in the books when the ink demon was first let out of his prison and got an axe to the leg he felt pain, so to me the ink demon felt all that horrible pain without being able to die hes expressed emotional distress before, again in one of the books Buddy heard the ink demon crying so he's definitely not incapable of it, it just apparently became more clear in his Toon form as Bendy.

Ink Demonth Day 23: Vent
Henry walked into room, a chill going down his spine.
The ink creatures in this room looked human... Their entire bodies made of ink, including their clothes and hair. But their sad expression and glowing golden eyes is what caught Henry's attention.
Henry slowly head towards the vent, trying to ignore how they stare at him.
Sobbing caught his attention in the corner of the room, a ink person sobbing as they hugged their knees.
Henry's heart broke at the sight of the ink person, he wanted to comfort them but he didn't know how the others would react.
He walked over to the vent, crawling inside it. He turned around, his heart stopped seeing those ink people at the entrance of the vent.
He took a deep breathe, continuing to crawl through the vent.
He has to get to Boris, just keep crawling through the vent, ignore the distractions.
A loud bang interrupted his thoughts, startlingly him. His heart froze seeing the Ink Demon behind the shutter, the grin sent shivers down Henry's spine.
The Ink Demon tilted his head at Henry, his grin looking more malicious. He moved away from the shutter, limping away.
It was a minute before Henry crawled again, praying the Ink Demon can't go into the vent.
He didn't know what he'll do if the Ink Demon ever chased him in the vent.
Birthday gift for my server bud, @rubinjuwel. Bendy and Teddy hanging out with Binky, Tictoc and Avery ( @british-hero‘s Bendy). The boys are having fun in their name!
“There’s something otherworldly about him....”

I went in depth about how OP Early Toons were, and started trying to piece together how my version of Bendy would be based off of that. If he were indeed to exist in the real world, he’d be less an intentionally evil, demonic entity and more of a Lovecraftian reality warper. I felt Lovecraft was a good reference to use for how out there my guy: a powerful being from somewhere unattainable, with terrifying power and no immediately clear motivation. But then I remembered something that I think perfectly sums him up even better...
SALLY CRUIKSHANK
Especially her short Face Like A Frog
Not only did I love watching it growing up, but it’s the perfect case of mindf***ery I need for further studying. Just pure, surrealist, nonsensical animation that makes it hard to follow, but GOD you just can’t take your eyes away.
Also with a bit of Marcell Jankovics style, especially from his film Fehérlofia. PLEASE check it out!
This is my Bendy. Unpredictable, unfathomable, and uncontrollable. Yet mesmerizing and wondrous to watch. However, Bendy rarely, if ever, goes out of his way to seriously hurt people. Most of the time, it’s just him screwing around and making people question what they really experienced. Like: random shape-shifting, turning things into other things, and pulling off incredible illusions that scare the hell out of people. But all of it in good fun even if it’s mostly for him. Nonetheless, there is a passive, unsettling feeling his mere presence inspires to those who aren’t accustomed to it. It’s disturbing yet they can’t seem to pull away. The longer they’re near him, the more intense the feelings get— sometimes overcoming them even. Despite all this, Bendy seems rather blasé about his effects on people. Whether he doesn’t know, or just doesn’t care, it’s unknown.
One can only assume what would happen if he really let loose though. His true form would be nothing short of a paradox. It would be everything yet nothing, due to how literally incomprehensible it is. Think of those Deep Dream pics and how baffling those are. Sure, some pieces of it you’d be able to recognize, but, it’s immediately lost among everything else. While the nature of his birth and the Ink Machine is one reason this might be—
there’s...something else that might’ve slipped through the cracks....

Well I was feeling a little better. So I decided to draw.
Just a quick sketch of Bendy lol. Bendy is definitely genderfluid and no one can change my mind (at least in my Bendy au).
