Maybe I’m being the friend that’s Too Woke™ but having Corey be the dead friend in Tomb Quest is kinda giving the “Black dude dies first” trope.

Out of the entire cast they have the only visible racial minority be a guy who dies off screen. And they don’t even give him the grace of his character being featured on the merchandise (genuinely everybody’s character is on this poster bar Corey’s- despite the fact his character is suppose to show up within the tabletop game).

Idk man I feel as if they could have casted anybody else to play the dead friend role.
