wow, why the heck is that their business? I think you have the right to choose straight to keep your privacy, and only tell those who you want to know. It shouldn’t affect you too much at Uni if you say a sexuality you’re not.
yeah, that’s what i thought! it’s not something that’s massively important, so i didn’t think much into it in the end! thank you :)

I have a confession: I loved her. She was my favourite character for a while. I even wanted to dress like her. Veeery unpopular opinion, I know. I don’t even know why I liked her, I just did.

Oh my god I wrote this sat in the college canteen with my back to the wall, I can’t believe myself sometimes. Thank you for the prompt, I hope you like it <3
The office was empty except for Ryan and Michael editing, and Ryan was still in his ‘Mad King’ mode. Jack had finally turned off his computer and headed out the office to go home, and when he did, Michael immediately saved his editing and swivelled his chair around to watch Ryan work.
Michael had keenly waited this moment so of course he was going to savour it; Ryan’s shoulders were tense, his back straight, and his hand was gripping his mouse so tightly that Michael was surprised it hadn’t cracked. He’d gone through his fair share of mice and other computing equipment the exact same way.
However, as Ryan huffed in frustration at his screen for the millionth time, Michael decided he’d finally intervene. He silently walked over to stand behind Ryan and removed the headphones from his head; Ryan jolted at the sudden movement, but allowed Michael to lean over and click pause on the video he’d been editing.
“You look like you could do with letting off some steam,” Michael commented, planting his hands on Ryan’s shoulders. He paused for no longer than a second before slowly massaging Ryan’s shoulders, working away the knots and kinks of a long, frustrating day.
To make matters worse (or better? Michael often couldn’t tell), Ryan had gone full Mad King in their final video of the day; whatever aim Geoff had set for the Achievement Hunters had been completely disregarded by Ryan who had instantly whipped out his rocket launcher, destruction the only thing on his mind. He’d cackled maniacally, deviously smirked, and had even used “because I’m the Mad King” as an excuse to the havoc he’d wreaked.
But as Michael deftly worked his fingers along Ryan’s shoulders and the top of his back, he didn’t seem to be getting the feedback he usually did. Ryan normally had nothing but mumbled praise and relaxed sighs in response to Michael’s massages, but this time he seemed to be a lot tenser than he usually was.
“You’re doing a fantastic job and all, Michael, but I think I need to unwind in a different way,” Ryan had lowered his voice to nothing more than a deep growl. Michael pulled back like he’d been burned; the last thing he wanted to do was annoy Ryan when he was in this state. Not because he didn’t want whatever Ryan was surely going to give him, but because he’d rather he wasn’t punished for disobeying the King.
Ryan swiftly stood up and placed his palm on the centre of Michael’s chest. He held Michael’s gaze for a moment, and Michael could have grinned with excitement when he saw the devious glint in Ryan’s shining blue eyes. A smirk lingered on Ryan’s face as he gently pushed Michael who barely even needed the suggestion before he walked backwards until Ryan had Michael pinned against the small section of wall between the corner and the couch where the wooden sword used to hang.
(It would have still been hanging there had Gavin not knocked it off after tussling with Geoff earlier that day.)
Ryan continued to close in on Michael until their bodies were pressed against one another and Michael felt as though he could drown in the comforting warmth radiating from Ryan. Their eyes were locked the entire time – Ryan only broke the eye contact to flicker his gaze down to Michael’s lips and back up again.
Ryan gave no warning as he surged forwards, hands gripping onto Michael’s shoulders as he kissed him firmly and passionately, but Michael hadn’t needed any kind of heads-up. The surprise was part of the fun, and he forced himself to not go limp as Ryan held him against the wall and completely claimed Michael’s mouth as his own.
Michael found himself moaning unabashedly into Ryan’s mouth, hungrily kissing back and craving more. Ryan returned the favour by not-so-subtly pressing his hips against Michael’s, rolling them slightly and groaning with the friction.
Only when Michael’s hands strayed to Ryan’s belt loops did Ryan break the kiss. He took Michael’s wrists in his hands and firmly held them against the wall above his head.
“Nope. You’re gonna have to wait until we get home.” Ryan’s breath tickled Michael’s ear as he shamelessly purred into it. He softly brushed his lips against Michael’s jaw; then the intoxicating warmth dissipated and Ryan was turning on his heel, smirking to himself as he strode out of the Achievement Hunter office.
He left nothing but an incredibly turned-on and flustered Michael in his wake who quickly followed, unwilling to be left without Ryan.

You're in Australia? if you come to Canberra, I'm sorry. It's not very nice here. Sydney's okay, but can get a little grimy at times. I hope you're enjoying your visit/stay.
I've never been to Canberra or Sydney but I'm staying with relatives in Perth at the moment :D and thanks, I will! I leave on Thursday though, I don't think I'm ready to go back to the cold of England just yet
Hi, Ben. I find that you being only 4 years older than me, yet know so many languages almost inspiring. My school cancelled all the language classes, and I've been trying to teach myself both German and French on and off for the past 4 years. Yet I still only remember a little of the basics. I've always wanted to be able to be fluent in a language other than English. Is there a site or book that you recommend? Or a technique? Or do I really need to take classes? Thank you.
Hiiii
Honestly, 4 years can make all the difference. 4 years ago I didn't speak a word of French (now I consider myself fluent) and my Italian was very very basic at best and now I'm a graduate in both.
That's such a shame about your school though, I'm sorry :/
If you still feel like quite a beginner then Duolingo could be a good place to start - I've never used it that much (more through language choice than anything else) but I know a lot of people really like it.
I think one of the 'first level' methods I've got on with the best is the Hugo in 3 Months series. I've never used it for French or German obviously since I've always had classes but I've used it for Dutch and Portuguese and it seemed to have a good balance of grammar with enough (yet simple enough) explanations as well as moderately relevant vocab/dialogues. If you get it, make sure you get it with the audio. It shouldn't be too expensive but tbh it's also probably torrentable somewhere too.
Classes are really beneficial but they're not absolutely necessary - honestly the best balance is to both take a class AND study yourself but that's not always possible. It is possible to achieve a lot on your own though.

'Snail mail' is usually the phrase since it rhymes. Though schneckenpost sounds awesome. I'd use that instead. (Damn post!)
Thanks, Zoe :) Snail mail sounds really good - and now that I've seen the outtakes, I might be able to take another day or two to wait (But not more! Do you hear me, snail mail postmaster? :)
