Headcanons ! - one of Annie's worst habits

Annie has to constantly move her hands. It does not matter if she just puts her arms in a fold or places a single palm onto her hip they just have to be in motion. One of her most prominent movements is the ‘I run my hand through my hair' quirk. She constantly does that whenever she's nervous, restless or annoyed. Why she generally needs to incite her hands remains an unsolved mystery to the most. To Annie said motions are some sort of reassurance. If her hands move,she will be able switch to her battle stance no matter in which situation Annie currently is. This idea goes hand in hand with her subliminal urge to cover the nape of her neck.

{ ⚜ } —  Words failed the former soldier as he gazed up in awe at the sheer number of people that had amassed behind him. So much for keeping his low profile, now what? Was it possible to feign ignorance or amnesia? Certainly not ALL of these people knew him that well, right? It was just his luck too that most of them were soldiers. How was he going to explain his way out of this one? He had little to nothing to bribe them with, and frankly, lying didn't sit well with him. It never really had. What choice did he have if he failed to sink properly into the shadows? Biting nervously into chapped lips, he glanced at them through his lashes warily, unsure as to how they would react to his presence.
