Book 55 of 2021. A chunky little thing of beauty that has been on my TBR since 2018, when I read the first book in this duology, Those Days during Pujo. Baba kindly bought me this book last month, as a reward for giving him a haircut. 😁 I started reading this on Nobo Borsho and have been savouring it slowly. I am only 550 pages in, I have more than 300 odd pages more to go. Its been my companion while I was sick, I have read it in bursts and fits and have really enjoyed being in the company of Rabindranath Tagore, Swami Vivekananda, Noti Binodini, Ramkrishna Paramhans and many other notable Bengali stalwarts.
