I kind of think, or hope, that Shaw's story did move forward in this episode. In the only way it could without her being saved. Only because we know part of her knew it was a simulation. And I think her speech at the end was more speaking to simulation Root. Saying that her safe place was in the simulation with Root to escape other torments outside of the simulation that we didn't see. "Do you know where we are?" Could mean do you know we're in a simulation? Or maybe i'm just wishing /:

Yeah that’s how I interpreted it as well, it’s like when Shaw asked Root where are they and Root said at her place, if I remember correctly that’s the first time Shaw starts to question her reality? I still just have so many mixed feelings about the ep, I think I need more than one day to sort out my thoughts, maybe watch it again when I’m ready
