follows canon till chapter 2, where noelle is supposed to enter your party. Instead for some reason berdly's your new teammate. general same route, backtrack to spamton. his weapon though, the holy halbird though has a unique property similar to iceshock that directly attacks the code of enemies, breaking them. absorbing their exp. grinding. all while the soul, through Kris, keeps praising him for how good, how strong he is. much needed for him. obvious reasons. then the whole addison/snowring thing, im not sure how but essentially the snowring is replaced with the "first blood", scythe. literally serves the same function as the snow ring. but like interaction goes different. whole "were something else", but to obtain the First Blood we have to encourage his selfishness, his grand view of himself. you deserve it, dosent matter the cost. you should take it. scythes suit you better really. you'll be so *strong* with it. something like that. and then as we go on, we continue to feed his ego. our words keep him moving. his smarts are unmatched. his skills, unparalleled. then as enemies continue to be broken with the First Blood. then well be able to obtain something called the "gameshark" a strange, even more unnerving weapon. im not sure what it does yet. i don't want it to *delete* people. i need her around for the next bit, where defeating noelle sobers him up just enough to realize whats going on, that that isn't Kris, and he needed to run. then spamton neo, essentially no different to standard weird route. you whisper his name. the mere hint of your praise brings him back into that star of mind to gameshark the fuck out of neo. and then after the fountain closes he sees noelle in the light world not waking up and runs home. crying presumably. he blames himself. its all his fault. all his fault. he *killed* his best friend and studymate (or at least he thinks so. I'm not so certain) and crying in his room, he somehow hears sweet nothings being whispered through his front door by NotKris. youre special. youre strong. so so strong. you have done nothing wrong. you always do the right thing. youre so great berdly. i love you berdly. and then.. hes okay, relaxed. fallen back into the mindless.. glaze. ch3.. uhh.. sword route is a little glitchier probably. more howling winds. no real big differences. but pre-dark world chapter 4? instead of being with the holidays, the code is somewhere belonging to berdlys mom. it is, understatedy, not hard to get him to let them come to his house. rationally he hates the thing controling kris but he just needs it so badly. ive thought about a whole soul free segment, where the soul is stuffed away, and through talking to kris very quickly figures out better whats going on. it doesn't really matter. hes not in control anymore. quite honestly he never was. hes wrapped around your finger. pretty little bird.
