April 23, 2010 | Happy 13th Anniversary
Here are some tarot cards I drew as a companion to @madronash’s The Hanged Man, our entry into the Bering and Wells Big Bang 2023.
@beringandwells13
(Tarot cards are now available on my Big Cartel.)
Here is an illustration I made for the Bering And Wells Big Bang for the 13th anniversary, it's a cover art for the amazing story by @anandabrat (beta'd by @madronash) you can read it here : the Remington Standard #2
summary : It’s 1997, and when a quiet teenager in a book shop finds an old typewriter with the previous owner’s name and address inside, she writes a letter. When the previous owner writes back, she takes the 1881 date in stride, and two kids start to fall for each other. This story isn’t an AU so much as an epistolary reboot, letting Helena and Myka flirt, chafe against the people who underestimate them, become adults, and ultimately find a way to the Warehouse (together!) without MacPherson or Paris as catalysts. The only obstacle in their path is time, and we all know that’s no match for Myka Bering or Helena Wells.

13 Hours of 13 Years of Bering and Wells
Hi everyone! Let's get a bit more concrete about the Zoom meeting on Sunday, April 23rd, 2023 - 11am till midnight Berlin time!
Here's some more info, including a table of timezones so that you can see what that translates to in your timezone!
You can sign up here (Google Form) - we added a trivia question to the form to make sure only fellow fans can sign up. We're gonna have to ask your email address in order to send you the Zoom link when the time comes; I won't put that out in the open.
Here is a form where you can input your headcanons for the headcanon bingo! (and also suggest trivia questions if you want)
And, last but not least, if you have other ideas of stuff that you'd like to do/see done, please let me know in the tags!
Please reblog this far and wide and often, so that as many Bering and Wells fans as possible know that we're doing this, so that they can come and hang out with us. If you know fellow fans who aren't on Tumblr, feel free to share this with them in other places too!

Many thanks, @madronash, for this summary and for beta-ing. It's absolutely not an understatement to say this would not have come into existence without your help and support!
And @ninth-on-eight, thank you so much for the incredible art used here as a cover! It's absolutely the perfect image to sum up this story and I love it so much!
Written as part of the Bering and Wells Thirteen celebration!
Big Bang Story Teaser #1!
Hey everyone! The Big Bang teams are working hard on their stories and artworks, and this week I'm gonna tease what's coming, with a short summary for every story, one per day!
Coming in on April 17 are @anandabrat (writer), @madronash (beta) and @ninth-on-eight (artist), with this:
It's 1997, and when a quiet teenager in a book shop finds an old typewriter with the previous owner's name and address inside, she writes a letter. When the previous owner writes back, she takes the 1881 date on the letter in stride, and two kids start to fall for each other. Doesn't that sound amazing? Starting us off with a fresh take not just on the story itself but on storytelling in general, with the epistolary format! Don't know about you, but I can't wait!
If you're as excited as I am, please show your love by reblogging this (go wild in the tags too!) - nothing is more motivating and encouraging for a creator than seeing their work get love and attention! So, let's all cheer them on on their home stretch!
Big Bang Story Teaser #2!
(Teaser for story #1)
Today I'm gonna tease you with the story that'll go up on April 20th, by @madronash (writer), @rinari7 (beta), @anandabrat (helper/second beta), and @elle-arts (artist)! Here's what they've cooked up for us:
The Hanged Man: Myka and Claudia set off for Cornwall to investigate some mysterious disappearances, Helena's orb in tow. When Helena finds a wicked pack of cards, she and Myka don't expect to get sucked into another world… a world created by another woman unappreciated in her time, and designed to challenge their assumptions about their own. This story uses the multi-layered symbolism of Tarot and combines it with a sharp critique of how symbols are created, who they’re for, and how to embrace them without becoming lost in the process. Follow Helena and Myka as they traverse a strange landscape, discover each other anew, encounter familiar characters in ways they’ve never seen before, and ultimately carve their way towards a future together.
Listen, I have no idea about the whole concept of Tarot, but I'm excited to read this and not just enjoy an awesome Bering and Wells story but learn something in the process!

Big Bang Story Teaser #5!
For our fifth and last story, to be published on April 23rd, @kloperslegend (writer), @hgandmyka (beta) and @niftybottle (artist) will present you this:
For the first time, Investigator Myka Bering isn’t content to let a case slip away when the feds pull rank. No, not when one of the vics is a family friend, and certainly not when all signs point to a vulgar blend of compromised ethics and venture capital espionage.
As she pursues the two murder cases in secret, it becomes clear that the feds may not be trying to solve the crimes at all. Worse, her findings point to a weapon so foul, so impossible, that even just thinking about it makes her start to feel crazy.
Oh, and Myka’s primary suspect? A single mother by the name of Helena Wells.
Doesn't this sound amazing? Getting a lot of hardboiled vibes from this one!
