Carrying on a rich history (of only one year, but we'll take it) Berlermo Blockbuster Week is back!
In honor of the lesser-known side of Eid, which is the start of blockbuster season, we propose - Berlermo Blockbuster week 2022! (Technically a day, but we all take it as a whole week or at least 4 days!)
All the movie tropes you know and love (or maybe you don't) but as vehicles for our favorite ship. A disaster movie where no one listens to the scientists and they all die - except for, ofc, the scientists? A rom-com, rivals to lovers? A horror movie where a seemingly haunted house is, surprising no one but the protagonists, haunted? Or a superhero flick where—
You get the point. If it can be (or even is - movie crossovers are welcomed!) a blockbuster, it can have Berlermo. And we’d love you to join us in writing or illustrating them!
For inspiration, you can see last year's Berlermo Blockbuster offerings in the AO3 collection here. And since prequels and sequels are very much "in" these days, writers who participated last year can also choose to further explore last year's fic 'verse!
Artists are more than welcome to participate! You can either pair up with a writer to illustrate a poster or make a "trailer" for their blockbuster, or you can have your own take making a concept poster, trailer or gifset for your own original idea.
The fics can be one-shots - they don't have to be, but due to time constraints…
The AO3 collection will be open between May 1st and May 7th, and will be announced in time - we'll keep you updated of all details!
