I haven't, because living in the States. But I'm proud of you for setting such a large goal! And I'm positive you won't come in last already, so just put some practice in and enjoy the experience. I wish I could be there, but customs won't let me.
I hope I won’t come in last - but that’s the point, right? It doesn’t really matter what happens in the end, it’s just a long term goal I decided on to motivate myself!
Also, it would be so awesome if you’d live in Europe and we could participate together... It’s an international tournament, but of course there are not many people from overseas, because it’s difficult (and expensive) to get here. Khatuna Lorig was the only one participating for the US last year.
Okay, so I’ve decided: My archery goal for 2016 is to participate at Berlin Open at the end of the year and to not come in last!
I’ve never participated at Berlin Open before and Berlin isn’t exactly around the corner (Amercians and people from other big countries are not allowed to laugh). But I think it would be worth it to be there at least once! About 500 archers participated last time and there is a price money for the best archers and some other stuff to win, and I feel like it’s basically like the tiny german baby brother of the Vegas shoot.
Has anyone on here ever been there before or plans on going in the future?
