DU™️ #Repost @byrkelou ・・・ I love working from my tiny Berlin home + studio. It is a quiet place and allows for all the focus and calmness I need to produce work. For my new work “jxj” I chose a mix of space sounds mixed with field recordings, which I alienated by adding effects and time-stretching to represent the warped and morphed potential universe of “jxj”. For my last work “ixi” I also cut up and integrated the AI layers of my tracks “Free” and “Earth” (link to tracks on YouTube in bio). For the Mixing of my sounds I often work with @victorvanvugt who is the best person to work with I could ever imagine. Not everything I release is a final polished mix, my finished tracks on “bayes” are. (Wait for the last tracks 🪸✨). Especially for my fine art works such as “jxj” ans “ixi” I keep my experimental approach to sound and tear things apart repeatedly, resynthesize and layer. Some more on all this soon. Byrke Lou always uses the latest technologies and new, innovative ways of sound production. She produces and performs by “live coding” the music. This means she writes code, which in real-time is translated into music.
