my absolute favourite bookstore is „she said“ but I also love saint georges english bookshop and ocelot - not just another bookstore and there are some nice antiquary bookshops like Mutabor, Die Geistschmiede or Wiederhold

places to hang out: holzmarkt (drinks, food, just sitting on the river), volkspark friedrichshain (the outdoor cinema is beautiful as well), tempelhofer feld, viktoriapark, raw gelände (flea markets, concerts, bars, clubs..), treptower park, brotfabrik berlin, körnerpark

Bars: café mono, freya fuchs, kapitalist, Ä and klunkerkranich but I also love to just go to friedrichshain because there are lot’s of great bars right next to each other

In generell I love the maibachufer and the bergmannkiez is pretty nice (theres also a hidden pick&weight there that has a very cheap section) but also friedrichshain and kreuzberg are perfect for just strolling around and let the city guide you to whatever it is you’re into
