I don't have Internet or computer on board yet. Pretty much every fear I had came true in one fail swoop and I've been scrambling with no time to record. On the move down to Gulfport from Clearwater we blew a head gasket. Then we blew the damper plate off the transmission. We found out TowboatUS didn't cover either captain aboard. Jesse, John and Sam ended up towing us tandem alongside John's Hunter 42 down the intracoastal through all the bridges to Gulfport. A storm came in my 2nd night here. A smaller boat dragged and got caught in my anchor line. I've got a lot of leaks coming through the rails on my deck so everything I own is soaked from the rain. Can't heat water because the generator only has 15 amp plugs. It also leaks gas and conks out every other day. Half of my electrical outlets were pulled apart and all of my new plumbing was leaking. Jesse and John both had the flu for a week and a half. But, the good news is, fat little brick of a dog, Bernadette is adjusting well. I can't get her to pee on her grass patch...but she snoozes happily on the boat all day. The local pirates dinghy us back and forth to shore a couple of times a day. The guys have worked hard trying to resolve all these issues. New generator and dinghy are on the way. Hoping my bunk doesn't become a water bed again with the rain coming today! These are some photos of the good moments in between during the past two weeks. 😎 #svmaddream #bernadettemuffinbum #gulfport #yohoho #piratelife #onthehook #livingthedream #halp (at Gulfport, Florida) https://www.instagram.com/p/B6srodHg7vG/?igshid=xoyu9o3mb2s6
