There’s something noteworthy about Bernie Sanders going to Alabama to stand with Amazon workers fighting for a union. 

I vividly recall the media trashing Bernie in 2016/ 2020 while running for President because he couldn’t earn southern votes. He was spun to be this out-of-touch radical who couldn’t speak to southerners’ needs (esp. black southern voters). But here Bernie is, fighting for the Alabaman working class anyway. Fighting for people we don’t know. This will never be lost on me.
