Ingredients: 4 cups mixed berries such as strawberries, blueberries, raspberries. 2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup. 2 tablespoons chia seeds.
Instructions: Blend the mixed berries in a blender until they are smooth. Pour the puree into a saucepan and place it over medium heat. Add the chia seeds and honey or maple syrup. Cook for ten to fifteen minutes, stirring frequently, or until the mixture thickens. Take it off the heat and allow it to cool a little. Forming a thin layer, spread the mixture onto a baking sheet lined with parchment. Let it set for two to three hours, or until it becomes firm. After the fruit mixture has set, use a sharp knife to cut it into strips. Wrap each strip separately in plastic wrap or parchment paper after rolling it up.
