yeah, I love Amy, but education is important. It's a reasonable expectation for her father, and it's just a few years effort to make her parents happy and open up her future options. Though her dad should not use her being trans against her. Ever.

100% fully agreed on this. It was important to me to show a confrontation between the two of them where neither is in the right; Amy is, at this point, pretty irresponsible and unforgiving of how many years it took for her parents (her father, anyways) to accept that she knew what she wanted. And now, when he expects something reasonable, she won't listen, and her Dad is... well, he's angry, which is justifiable, but he reacts in a way that no well-meaning father should. Which starts the cycle all over again.

It's a sticky situation and they're both incredibly stubborn. :( In a way, they're both more alike than they're willing to admit.

Yeah, I keep having to remind myself that they're teens while I'm reading, it's weird. Love the story so far, though!

For me, it's easy to see because in my head, it's just so obvious that they're teenagers that I just sort of... envision them as Seniors in high school, about to graduate, which is why they're so tall and what not. XD But I forget that it's harder for you guys to tell since... obviously you aren't in my head, lol! I do wish EA had done a LITTLE more to distinguish them, but... alas. Just means I need to work a little harder to make sure the story makes it clear. ^-^

Nah, she can't. :( Though, she isn't 100% blame free--it's not as if her parents don't want the best for her... They're all just very very stubborn! (Her father is a complete arse though, so I can't really blame her for not wanting to listen to him at all. >_<)

Hehe--oh, no one's butt deserves kicking, most of my day was wasted and it made me grumpy but I'm over it, now. ^-^ Just needed to cozy up with some good food and drink and aaaalll was better.

Hahaha, nah! I try to make it obvious what word it is they're saying, I just don't feel 100% comfortable having cuss words posted on the forums (since technically you're not supposed to), and I just generally don't like saying them publicly to begin with. My flamboyant sailor's tongue is reserved for my poor friends' ears. XD
