I do not expect them to believe because my Knights of the Round foresaw precisely what I tried to portray: a ‘ perfect ’ King who cannot have emotions. But even with the isolation I felt within those hallways of Camelot, I can proclaim one thing I enjoyed. It was not the victories itself nor the battlefield that brought joy into my heart. But the country, the kingdom who I fought to protect and governed by punishing criminals as well as barbarians that tried to invade my lands…THEIR SMILES are what I enjoyed seeing. That is precisely why I participated in strolling through marches, even had my knights accompany me, for the sake of watching them smile. Their civil unrest coming to an end through their smiles alone made my position as King worthwhile———I cannot regret what I truly wished to bring as King. ❞
