"Hey Therith, check these babies out!" Bel sticks up a leg and reveals a fluffy panda slipper adorned on her foot. "And don't think I forgot about you," She grins only to offer Therith a pair of kitten slippers. "They're to wear inside the apartment!"
“It’s.. a cat. Why does it look like a cat?” Therith squints at the slippers given to her, turning them over in her hands. She knew shems had weird shoes but this was definitely taking it to a new level. At least they’re soft to the touch.
“Is this a normal thing now? Putting animals on slippers? I mean sure, back in Thedas humans wear slippers but they’ve never had animals on them.”

“...Right.” Kao muttered as he took back the money from the girl, a bit embarrassed in having been called out on almost losing it. He had been feeling a bit out touch with everything lately, evident in the rather rushed manner he had made that “excuse” (if it could even be called that). Perhaps he had been traveling to one too many worlds and he just needed a break...but nonetheless, the boy put his hand behind his head and spoke to her.
“Sorry about that. I don’t know what came over me at that point,” he apologized to her. “I guess I’m just out of it for some odd reason...” His lips curled into a small frown at those last few words. He took a peek at his wrist watch. 11:40 AM. It was almost time for lunch, and if he wasn’t back in time, he would come home to one very cranky dragon. Which never is a good thing. Kao turned to the girl and properly introduced himself this time. “The name’s Kao. I’m not really from around these parts, but nice to meet ya.”
Whatever would happen next, he was sure it would be certainly anything but ordinary.

“I can’t help the fact that if I tried to put it in any other way, it’d most likely be several variations of what I’ve said!” Fudou grumbled in a grumpy tone as he remained sitting on the floor where he fell down on, feeling too under-the-weather to get up. And when he feels under the weather, Fudou tends to lash out at anyone in his vicinity that has bothered him in some way. “What are you doing here anyways!? You don’t look like you belong here, and no one here likes people who don’t look like they belong here!”
