At least I get to use Horse-us over here to show How to build a good base for greyscale rendering, because colors can be intimidating, and doing It in Black and White First does help.

Pick contrasting grays for each element and material, The diferent values WILL Help The composition later. Your Shadows and highlights can Also Never been fully Black or fully White, It throws balance off. ALSO, Keep in Mind that Every color has a temperature, like Purple greyscale Will look darker than yellow and stuff, does that make Sense? No? WELL I DON CARE.

Also this game is Diagonal Imperial Conquest, where The most Powerful pieces sit on each corner and The point is to stop them from meeting at The middle, none two important pieces are the same, and The Drake piece IS THE BEST Because It can Never be removed from The board.

I dislike TTS for many reasons, but I will never forgive them for what they did to the fan perception of Rogal Dorn.

I love canon Dorn soo much, he is my favourite primarch.

He is funny as hell; his dry, sarcastic wit gets me every time. The only one who holds a candle to him in the humour department is Jagathai. He is a little kinky freak. The whole pain glove thing is such an underexplored topic, and I want to know more about it. He has a temper to rival Angron, but he doesn't completely lose his head when he is angry, he is just a 100 times scarier. And he is one of the most underrated fighters out of all of the brothers, people forget he has confirmed primarch kills all the time.

He 100% could have decked Guilliman and stopped the Codex Astartes if he wanted to.

Dorn and Sigismund are two peas in a pod. People laugh about the Black Templars being of Dorn’s geneseed, but like, that is him. That is the real Dorn.

Which is your favorite primarchs, loyalist and traitor and why?

roboute guilliman is my favourite loyalist, even though i know that is a basic bitch answer. in 30k, i love that his superpower is basically ‘actually knowing how to plan things’ and ‘had parents who loved him’ — and these two things combine to make him a complete powerhouse of efficiency (who can also kill word bearers in the void of space). in 40k, i love his major ‘tired older sister holding the shitty family together’ energy — he’s tired and broken and wants nothing more than for it all to stop so he can run away onto a farm somewhere, but he knows it won’t stop, and he can’t stop, so he does his duty and keeps going. there’s something so beautifully human about his story: the story of the child who must shoulder the burden his father gave him; of the good man who does what he must even though it eats him alive; of the king who never wanted the throne, but — ironically — is the most fit to sit upon it.

traitor is harder - i like writing perturabo, because he’s just a massive arsehole who could have saved himself if he wasn’t such an unlikeable prick. i also really like writing konrad, even though he’s the absolute worst and completely insane. i think my favourite has got to be magnus though, because although he did do quite a bit wrong, he was also the victim of some terrible terrible parenting (more so than the others!) and almost to the end he was just trying to save his sons.

honourable mention also goes to the lion, because he’s a feral bastard in 30k and a man who has wisdom forced down his gullet in 40k; both are very fun to write. its a shame that his legion doesn’t have much in the way of really interesting lore - would have loved if they had leant more into the welsh king arthur returns thing.

😁😅🙂😭🌋 My gorgeous gigantic favorite Primarch best amazing wonderful gentle kind soul who can see through walls and in the dark and make clocks that slow down the aging process in humans— You need better ambient lighting.

Vulkan is perfect and had Never done Anything Wrong (discreetly kicking dead eldar child to side) and probably has The best smiles and hugs in the Galaxy, but MAN Why You Must scarouse people like that, that One poor remembrancer Lady still starts sweating everything she sees Green, dude.
