Author Summary: Set in an AU in which Pan succeeded in turning Storybrooke into his new Neverland. When he captures Hook and Neal, Emma is determined to rescue them, but Pan is nothing if not devious. Shamelessly inspired by Firefly, though you absolutely don’t need to have watched that to read this. Killian takes a bit of a beating in this one (hence the rating, to be safe), but there is pay-off!

Surprised by Peter Pan in episode 3x05 “Good Form”

Peter Pan appears out of nowhere on the beach, surprising the Jones brothers and causing them to pull their swords on him. Look at how adorably jumpy the younger Jones is as he keeps looking over his shoulder in case more strange children pop up somewhere unexpectedly.

Dealing with Peter Pan in episode 3x05 “Good Form”

An interesting thing about this conversation between Hook and Pan: Colin has mentioned many times that he purposely has Hook make - and maintain - eye contact with everyone he speaks to, and this is clear in most of Hook’s interactions with other characters. However, with Pan, we see Hook averting his gaze throughout almost the entire conversation. It belies just how very intimidated and out of control Hook feels when dealing with this boy demon, and also illustrates just how well Colin can express his characters thoughts and feelings without saying a word.

During an already angsty conversation, Peter Pan disappears from in front of Killian and reappears directly behind him - a move that clearly startles and disturbs Killian.
