What’s a Beta Mod?

This is a team of Beta readers who will  beta fics to present to Alpha Mod team for a second pass. Your duties would include SPAG checking and double-checking the accuracy of the tags provided by the writer, helping with suggestions to keep work within the word count, and doing so in a supportive and considerate way so as not to discourage, but to enrich creativity.

While you aren't required to view content you aren't comfortable with, we will be needing an assortment of people who are comfortable reading for all levels of the zine. This does not mean each Beta Mod has to do so, but that we need a group that has people who individually might.

Checking SFW only will NOT prevent you from consideration.

A Beta Mod will also be allowed to contribute art and/or fic to the zine based on the previous part of their application, but your priority will be for Beta. What this means is that you will be considered first for Beta regardless of whether or not you are applying as an Artist or Writer. 

If you are selected as Beta, you're in the zine automatically as both Beta Mod and Contributor. 

If you don't get selected for a Beta Mod position, you go back into the running the same as the other applicants for Artist, Writer, or both.
