In a a/b/o universe, I'm not sure what dynamic I like the most for ASL, bc in one hand Omega Luffy would make sense since Ace and Sabo like to protect him so much, but also him being a Beta is great bc then he would be their little spy with no scent.
On the other hand Ace being an alfa also makes sense as the older brother and the one that was left after sabo left to take care of Luffy. But him being a Beta or an Omega would also be great since he would be an even more impressive rookie due to the amount of Alfas in the pirate world.
For Sabo I think he is best suited as a Beta or an Alfa, those would be the one that make the most sense to me, but I can see him also being an enigma.

Alright - Let's start with Rouge!
Monkey D. Garp is her father! So Dragon is her brother.
(I did this so I can keep Garp as gramps xD)
Rouge gets with Roger (like canon) and gives birth to Shanks.
Shanks gets with Mihawk and it leads to Ace and Luffy.
Sabo was adopted by Dragon btw. (like canon, he's the Chief of Staff of the Revolutionary Army).
So I did this that way Ace is still related to Rouge and Garp and Luffy to Garp and Dragon. Plus, it's a crack fic and I find it funny xD
So basically the idea is that the marines/World Government tell the world that Ace is Roger and Rouge's son (which like canon), Ace tries to correct them but they don't believe him. Just imagine Garp losing his shit laughing at this point. Big change, Rouge is alive! She had been living on Foosha since Ace was born. Shanks shows up earlier and basically tells them they are wrong.
It's told from Ace's perspective except Chapter One where he's a baby. I'm also doing a prequel of Shanks, Ace, and Luffy.

1. Shanks is the biological son of Gol D. Roger and Portgas D. Rouge.
2. Rouge is the daughter of Monkey D. Garp. She took her mother’s name (like Ace did in canon) when she became a pirate. Her brother is Monkey D. Dragon. (Cause lowkey want to still have Garp be a holy terror to Ace, Luffy, and Sabo cause I like their canon interactions). She was 19 when she gave birth to Shanks. She is alive and living in Foosha. She abandoned Baterilla (where she had been living when Ace was born. Ace was still born on Baterilla). Also, still wanted Garp to be their gramps.
3. Ace and Luffy grew up on the Red Force. They met Sabo in Foosha, visiting Rouge. They still make their vow of brotherhood with him and he ends up with Dragon. They reunite years later.
4. Ace’s birthname is Gol D. Ace. He decided to go by Portgas because of Shanks and Rouge’s suggestion. He’s gone by Ace Mihawk before.
5. Shanks was born Gol D. Shanks but as an apprentice only went by just Shanks and got his nickname. Only Rayleigh, Garp, and Rouge know his real name. He’s gone by Portgas before. The world just knows him as Red-Haired Shanks.
6. Luffy’s birthname is also Gol D. Luffy but it was changed to Monkey D. Luffy by Garp when Luffy got his first bounty.
7. ASL still have a brotherhood after spending time together when visiting Rouge in Foosha.
8. Rouge set out from Foosha at 17, met Roger a few years later and ended up pregnant with Shanks. Raising Shanks in the West Blue until he was old enough to go onto the Oro Jackson. She eventually returns to her position on Whitebeard’s ship as the Second Commander. When Shanks got pregnant, she left the crew and moved back to Foosha.
9. Mihawk is still a warlord and his relationship with Shanks is only known by the people who know about Ace and Luffy.
10. Whitebeard and Shanks entered an alliance after Shanks talks to Whitebeard about Blackbeard/Teach.
11. Thatch is still alive. CAUSE FUCK THAT. I love Thatch.
12. Ace is still the Second Division Commander of the Whitebeard Pirates.
13. Shanks didn’t lose his arm to the Sea King cause the event that caused him too never happened.
14. Ace doesn’t hate Roger. Thanks to Shanks and Rouge.
15. Luffy is still the captain of the Strawhats and does his canon events until Sabaody. The Strawhats do not get separated and end up at Marineford.
16. The promise between Luffy and Shanks does still exist.
17. Ace still questions Whitebeard about what if Roger had a child.
18. Ace and Luffy love to tease Shanks by calling him mom. They called him dad growing up though unless they felt like being little shits. Around people who don’t know their secret, they just call him Shanks.
19. Shanks has freckles but they are hardly noticeable since he’s always tanned.
20. Ace still has daddy issues, just not to the degree as canon. Mihawk was rarely around when he was growing up and he ends up resenting him, thinking he didn’t care for his kids or Shanks.
