annnyywaaayys, made a gen 9 sprite in ibisPaint real fast (original sprite was taken straight from the Pokémon database), do what you will with it it took me like 8 minutes haha

Visually, Umbreon didn’t change much.  Its face is different enough that I wanted to draw it, but the final game’s Umbreon sprite is just this but cleaned up a bit.  I do find it interesting that it was originally a Poison type though.  I never questioned the yellow rings on its body, I figured they were like, moons or something.  Because a Dark-type could have moons as a theme.  But now I’m seeing it as a reversal of the color scheme of a blue-ringed octopus, which is highly venomous.  So now I’m going to think of Umbreon as the octopus Eeveelution, and I think my life is better for that.
