You stand at the edge of the water, your hooves, your paws, they remain untouched by the water. Something you expressed sadness for. I want to splash the water onto your fur. Being the first doesn't mean you don't get to have fun. I take a step forward, and you are dead in my arms. A million questions run through me, and I know the answer to each. Your grief was not something I could handle, and I failed to understand that. I bury my head in your fur. We are but two corpses, consumed by the tragedy of fate and our own mistakes.
