"Ever thought of writing your own songs?"
"What?"
"I mean instead of always doing crummy Cliff Richard songs, you ever thought about writing your own?"
"Nah, not really. I can't write."

Smiler Bunn, Gentleman-Adventurer. Bertram Atkey. New York: Lincoln Mac Veagh, The Dial Press, 1926. First edition. Original dust jacket by Beth Morris.
"Smiler Bunn - genial, fat, kindly, shrewd, unscrupulous, implacable, successful, - joins the ranks of Sherlock Holmes, Raffles, Rouletabille, Secret-Service Smith, and the rest of that gallant company of intellectuals who live in fiction and subsist on crime. Like Holmes himself, the Smiler is immortal."

Beth Morris has "Trust Issues"
Rising UK singer/songwriter Beth Morris first caught our attention with her single "Release" and now she returns with yet another brilliant effort titled "Trust Issues". Armed with her commanding and distinct vocal tone and unapologetic songwriting, she delivers a heartfelt piece that dives into
RIP Beth Morris (19.7.1943 - 1.3.2018)
Born Bethany Morris in Gorseinon, Swansea, Beth was a talented and underrated actor. Her career mixed stage work with roles on TV and film, including high profile appearances in the likes of I, Claudius (1976).
Genre credits include Armchair Thriller (1980), The Hanged Man and Thriller (both 1975) and a meaty role in Blake’s 7 (Mission To Destiny, 1978). There were more substantial parts in The Organization (1972) and HTV’s short lived Welsh soap opera, Taff Acre (1981), with big screen appearances in the likes of That’ll Be The Day, Tales That Witness Madness (both 1973) and the Harry Nilsson/Ringo Starr debacle Son Of Dracula (1974).
A versatile actor, at home in drama and comedy, Morris had some notable success on the stage. She played in Brecht’s Edward II in London and appeared on Broadway, having trained at Cardiff College of Music and Drama.
Although she never achieved star status, Beth was a reliable character actor who lent solid support to every show she appeared in. She is particularly good in The Organization, no mean feat considering the quality of cast that show assembled. As Heather, Morris is effortlessly cool, sardonic and professional - everything that Peter Egan’s Mr. Pershore is trying so hard to be. It’s a supporting role, but a juicy one, that allows for some notable scene stealing.
