Today I saw a man. Only he wasn't really there. The man was tall with a top hat. People say he's everything of darkness inside of him and had no face. But that's not what I saw. I saw a lost soul. This man had no place to go...no place to be...no place for him in the world. I knew the man had pain in his head, sorrow on his side, hate on his back, and regret above him. He was the darkness that everybody in town feared to have in their daily life's. I don't understand how people, not only feared him, hated on this man, when all I really see is gold in his hands. He once saw me look at him in his gorgeous hands of gold . He walked over to me and asked
"It's all around you. Can't you not see?"
"No one can see it only the one that must go to a better world.. So it's you who I'm seeking for."
"I see you in a different way, unknown to man kind. That's the only reason why I can see it."
For a moment there only existed silence. Everything stopped without a purpose that I didn't understand. It was only me and the man. He looked at me but I didn't know what to do or say anymore. So I thought for a moment that maybe it is me who he's seeking. I looked back at him. I tried deeply to see something, a clue, or hint to tell me that it was me but I saw nothing and for a bit I saw what the others saw, disaster and sorrow, and everything that was horrible for a human to feel. And the man became a mirror and I saw me. I had no hair at all and I was at a hospital and I was looking at an album that said 'Mom & Dad' while I was crying. I touched my hair to prove it was not true but I felt the soft skin on my head. The man was gone now. I feel back and thinking I was going to hit the ground when in reality I actually was falling in a black hole with complete darkness. Voices telling me "Hey little girl, this is going to be a fun ride for you!" with an intimidating laugh that was with me and never left my sight. I began to see arms trying to touch me. By the look of the hands they were hairy and disgusting, and with big hands I could tell they were all men. What felt like an eternity, there was no ground, no stopping this fall. That's until I saw a light. And everything seemed calmer. I was finally standing on concrete ground, the voices of the darkness have stopped and up ahead was a shiny substance. As I got closer I realized it was the man.He smiled to me and handed me his hand, for no place to go I reached for his hand with a great relief of fear of my chest. Today I saw a man. Only he wasn't really there. The man was tall with a top hat. People say he's everything of darkness inside of him and had no face. But that's not what I saw. I saw the light that nobody saw but me.
