Yeah, I saw. It would make him at least 25 now. And he'd be the only person ever to have a faked a driver's license to make himself younger.
It's possible to move the whole Paige/Visionary business back a few years so that Derek's 15 when that happens and 18 when the fire happens. If he was older than 18, then he was in college at the time of the fire, and unless BH has a college, wouldn't have been living at home, which would make Kate's plan useless.
The Sheriff claimed at Visionary happened 10 years ago. It could work in line with that. It just invalidates Derek's driver's license.
But, of course, things that Jeff says aren't canon, only the things that get shown. So unless they say or do something IN THE SHOW, it's all moot.
