Not In The Mood | Beth & Wat

Elizabeth closed her eyes as she lay back on her towel, allowing her toes to bury themselves in the sand below her. She needed some quiet and relaxing time to herself. After discovering an empty and secluded section of the beach, she stripped down to her bikini, shoved her headphones in and began to soak up some of the gorgeous island sun. Frowning, she felt the change in temperature and loss of light when someone moved in front of her and blocked the sun. Opening one eye she groaned, lifting herself up as she glared at the person in front of her. “Either move or speak, I didn’t grab one of those giant umbrellas for a reason.” She motioned them to move with her hand. “I’m not in the mood.”
Wat paused his tilting water bottle, aiming right for her exposed belly. But she ‘woke up’ before he could pour any on her. He gave a shrug, smiling innocently instead and took a swig, capping it again and finished setting up his usual lounging beach chair and large umbrella beside her, but angled it away as to not shade her.
“Got a bit of sand up your bum, darling?”
He moved his small cooler from one side of his chair to the space between them, popping it open to reveal a wide variety of colorful wine coolers.
