Neon bathes her in vibrance, the nightsky adding to its fervor. Huntr/x going worldwide meant two things: pleasantly sore limbs, and snacks from every region! A myriad of fans left aplenty, but there was something magical about cornerside shops. How every aisle carried names both a house staple and not, how sweet treats were marketed differently but all the same yummy, and Zoey's personal favorite: the tea section! She and the gals had already tasted boba in its hometown and its countless varieties, but every other place, every other region, had been sold out, even in Korea.
The Huntr/x special, labeled after their own Golden. Glistening gold flecks flittered in the cup, seen better with a firm shake, balls of tapioca colored to theme... better yet, each cup had a cute, edible 'lil thingy (Zoey, naturally, assumed it to be made of something tapioca-ish, but hey, she wasn't personally involved!) made to mirror one of the team's core members. Even with her comically sized totally not an impulse purchase sunhat, Zoey's eyes zeroed in on the last remaining cup...!
Only for her outreached hand to be blocked, a shadow dimming her light.
Literally.
