But we are most interested in bars that can be empowering as much as they are entertaining >>> @jcoleNC and @realcoleworld's #MiddleChild hits all five major dimensions of empowerment: ESTEEM, RESILIENCE, GROWTH, COMMUNITY, AND CHANGE. Each dimension gives us a chance to think about the self and about society. We are excited about this collaboration with @rapseminar and use this chart to helps show you how! ESTEEM: 33 examples... Whether J. Cole is talking about his Bentley, his Rollie, being the greatest, or being stuck, we get a sense of how he feels about himself and his identity. RESILIENCE: 29 examples... J. Cole also tells us parts of his story, coping and survival, but also the triumphs.
