Beverly Garland and Julie Adams had more in common than the same birth day.
A screen cap of Beverly Garland as Officer Patricia "Casey" Jones in "Decoy". Decoy was created for syndication and lasted one season from 1957 to 1958. It was the first American television series with a policewoman as the protagonist. Throughout the show's run, Jones worked undercover by impersonating women in various roles. Garland was the only regularly occurring character, Frank Campanella made occasional appearances as a police lieutenant. Production of the series ended May 1958 due to lack of funding. One notable guest star appearance is Peter Falk.
