Beverly Kenney was an American jazz singer known for her unique vocal style and emotional depth.
Moving to New York City in 1954, she gained recognition in the jazz scene, performing with notable musicians like Lester Young and George Shearing. Between 1956 and 1960, Kenney recorded six albums, showcasing her talent and versatility. Despite her professional success, she struggled with personal challenges and tragically passed away in April 1960, at the young age of 28.
